Out of the multitude of health professionals I've worked with in my long life, I must say that Jenny Regan truly stands far above them all. Her compassion, attention, dedication, and dogged pursuit of solutions are outstanding. Jenny worked diligently with me through holidays and weekends without concern for the hour being early morning or late night. She was always available to answer my concerns and check on my progress. Her knowledge is broad and her instincts are astute. I am grateful to be able to work with Jenny for any health concerns and feel confident that anyone would find her to be a precious asset to her/his health team. THANKS, Jenny!

Thank you SO much for healing my hip bursitis in only 2 days! The pain was so bad I couldn't walk and needed crutches to hobble into urgent care where they gave me prescription pain meds and said that's about all they could do. The last time I had bursitis (in my shoulder) I was in pain for a long time and it took months of acupuncture to heal. After the first day on my homeopathic remedy the pain in my hip was so much better, and by the second day I was walking normally again. By the third day I had complete range of motion with no pain at all! I was astonished! It was miraculous and I am truly grateful.

Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine that was developed in the late 18th century by Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician. It is based on the principle of "like cures like," which means that a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat similar symptoms in a person who is unwell. The substances used in homeopathic remedies are highly diluted, often to the point where there may be little or no molecules of the original substance left.
The process of preparing homeopathic remedies involves repeated dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking). According to homeopathic theory, this process enhances the healing properties of the substance while minimizing any potential toxicity. Homeopathic remedies can be derived from various sources, including plants, minerals, and animal products.
Homeopathy is used to address a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Practitioners conduct detailed interviews to understand the individual's symptoms, lifestyle, and overall health, aiming to match a specific homeopathic remedy to the person's unique symptoms and constitution.
Yes, homeopathic remedies are generally very safe. They are made through a process of repeated dilution and succussion, which removes toxicity while preserving the healing properties. They are safe for all ages, including babies, pregnant individuals, and the elderly.
There is growing research into homeopathy, with many studies showing positive effects. Like many holistic systems, research can be complex because treatments are individualized. For those interested, the Homeopathy Research Institute provides an excellent summary of the current evidence.
No, although some remedies come from plants, homeopathic remedies are prepared in a completely different way. Herbal medicine and supplements work through biochemical action. Homeopathy works through energetic stimulation of the body’s healing intelligence.
Acute and chronic care in homeopathy differ in both scope and approach.
Acute care is focused on conditions that appear suddenly, are short in duration, and usually resolve on their own, though support can ease discomfort and speed recovery. These include things like colds, flus, fevers, stomach bugs, minor injuries, and infections. In these situations, homeopathy can help the body respond more effectively, reduce symptom intensity, and support a smoother healing process.
Chronic care is intended for health concerns that are longer-lasting, recurring, or deeply rooted. These may be physical, mental, or emotional in nature. This type of care begins with a thorough, individualized consultation that explores your complete health history, lifestyle, emotional tendencies, and the unique ways your symptoms present. The aim is to identify a single homeopathic remedy that supports your overall state of health by addressing your totality of symptoms, rather than targeting symptoms in isolation.
Both types of care are important. Acute care offers timely support during sudden illness or injury, while chronic care provides a longer-term path toward lasting balance and resilience.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, offering individualized care rooted in classical homeopathy. My practice supports a wide range of health concerns across all stages of life, from infancy through the elderly.
I'm especially passionate about helping those facing chronic or complex conditions that may not respond well to conventional treatment. This includes autoimmune conditions, PANS/PANDAS, developmental and behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and other mental-emotional imbalances. I have a special place in my heart for working with children and their families, particularly supporting parents of young children. When a parent is well supported, the ripple effect on the whole family can be profound. Helping children heal while they are young not only brings relief in the present, but can also prevent countless health challenges later in life, setting them up for greater resilience, vitality, and a healthier future.
I also see clients for a variety of physical health concerns such as skin conditions, digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, fertility challenges, sleep disturbances, migraines, musculoskeletal pain, and much more.
In addition to long-standing or chronic conditions, I offer acute care for everyday illnesses and injuries, including fevers, colds, flu, stomach bugs, minor injuries, and post-surgical recovery.
Since homeopathy is holistic and completely individualized, your consultation is all about you. You'll have the space to share your story and how your symptoms show up in your daily life, while I gently guide the process with thoughtful questions.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive conversation about your mental, emotional, and physical health. It lasts about 2 hours and takes place over Zoom. We'll explore your main concerns in depth, with a focus on how your body expresses imbalance in its own unique way. We'll also talk about your energy levels, food preferences, stress, sleep, past traumas or places your energy may have gotten stuck, medical history, family history, and anything else that helps me understand the full picture of your overall state of health.
After your consultation, I take time to carefully review everything we’ve discussed and analyze your case. I’ll then recommend a homeopathic remedy that best matches your chronic picture, along with clear instructions on how to order and take it.
Healing is a process, so we’ll stay in close touch. Follow-up visits are scheduled regularly to assess how you’re responding, make adjustments if needed, and support your continued progress.
At the beginning of treatment, we’ll usually meet every month, with email check-ins in between as needed. Once you're showing steady progress on a well-matched remedy, we can begin to space out appointments.
Healing is rarely a straight line. Chronic conditions that have developed over many years often require several carefully chosen remedies over time as symptoms shift. In contrast, more recent issues may resolve much more quickly. Your age, overall health, family history, and lifestyle also play a role in how long you'll benefit from ongoing support.
Follow-up visits are essential for tracking your progress, understanding what’s shifting, and adjusting the plan when needed.
It’s not uncommon for a sudden illness or symptom flare-up to actually be part of your ongoing chronic picture rather than a separate acute illness. In those cases, I may suggest adjusting how you're taking your chronic remedy to help support your system through it. Taking an acute remedy at the wrong time can sometimes interfere with the deeper healing work we’re doing, so good communication is really important.
If you're dealing with a true acute illness, I offer Zoom or phone sessions (for an additional fee) to support you through it. I understand it can be tempting to self-prescribe, especially in the moment or outside of regular hours. However, checking in with me before taking anything new is often the most supportive option. Repeatedly treating yourself without guidance can sometimes unintentionally disrupt the progress we've made, even when the intention is to help.
Yes, homeopathy can usually be used alongside conventional treatment. Homeopathic remedies don’t work on a chemical level like pharmaceuticals do, so there are rarely any interactions or contraindications. That said, if you're seeing improvement and are considering reducing or stopping a prescription medication, it's very important to consult with your prescribing provider before making any changes. Please don’t stop or adjust any medications on your own.
We can work together to make sure all parts of your care are coordinated. Your safety and well-being always come first.
I want homeopathy to be accessible to everyone, so I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for those experiencing financial hardship. If those are currently full, I’m happy to refer you to a reputable student clinic or a student working under supervision, both of which provide high-quality care at a lower cost.
I'm also happy to discuss payment plans if that would make care more manageable for you. Just reach out, and we can find an arrangement that works.
Before enrolling in formal studies, I spent three years being mentored by a local homeopath who generously shared her knowledge and experience with me. When my children moved beyond the infant stage, I knew it was time to take the next step.
I went on to complete the rigorous four-year program at the Academy of Homeopathy Education (AHE), which included over 500 didactic hours and 500 clinical hours. In addition to the core requirements, I gained several hundred more client-facing hours, fully immersing myself in the learning process and developing as much hands-on insight as possible.
Alongside my training, I began volunteering with Homeopathy Help Now, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care for both acute and chronic conditions. That experience taught me a great deal about managing real-world cases and supporting a homeopathic practice. I continue to support their work behind the scenes and was honored to receive a Recognition Award for Volunteerism and Community Service upon graduation.
My learning hasn’t stopped there. I actively continue my education with additional training, most recently in cell salts and Bach Flower Remedies. Staying curious and continuing to grow as a practitioner is something I deeply value.
I am currently preparing for the HPLEX certification exam with the goal of becoming a Certified Homeopathic Practitioner (CHP) through the North American Homeopathic Examiners, as well as a Licensed Homeopathic Practitioner (LHP) through the Arizona Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Association.
The name Peculiar Nature was inspired by one of the foundational texts of homeopathy, The Chronic Diseases: Their Peculiar Nature and Their Homoeopathic Cure by Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. One day when I glanced at the book, the title really stood out to me. It felt meaningful and strangely personal, and I knew I had found the name for my practice.
In homeopathy, "peculiar" refers to the unique symptoms and traits that make each person’s experience distinct, something we pay close attention to in choosing a remedy. I’ve long identified with the idea of being a bit unconventional, and I believe the things that make us stand out are often the truest expressions of who we are.
And then there is nature, which has always been essential to my well-being. I feel most at home in natural environments. Nature is healing, wise, and full of subtle patterns, just like the process of homeopathy itself.
Peculiar Nature felt like the perfect name: a nod to the roots of homeopathy, to the uniqueness of each individual, and to the deep connection we all have to the natural world. It reflects the heart of my work and the kind of care I hope to offer.
